Miss Cari Bickle-Allison

Miss Cari Bickle-Allison

Owner / Founder
Miss Cari has shared her passion for dance and mentorship with students for over 20 years and is the founder of Nine Ladies Dancing and 10 Lords A Leaping, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to uplifting youth through the arts. Her love for dance began at age four after seeing The Nutcracker Ballet, inspiring a lifelong commitment to the art form. With over eight years of teaching experience, she values helping students grow not only as dancers, but as confident, well-rounded individuals through classes that emphasize proper technique, terminology, and a fun, positive environment. Miss Cari is trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and African dance, having studied at studios throughout the Milwaukee area. She served as captain of the dance team at Pius XI High School and danced professionally as a Milwaukee Bucks Energee Dancer. She holds a degree in Marketing and earned her BFA in Contemporary Dance in Spring 2014. Her collegiate and professional performance credits include works with Oni Dance, Wild Space Dance Company, Summerdances 2010, Winterdances 2011, and a site-specific Milwaukee production choreographed by Stephen Koplowitz.
Miss Caroline Goronja

Caroline began dancing at a young age on the Mukwonago Varsity Dance Team before pursuing dance at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She performed works by Simone Ferro and Molly Shanahan (Mad Shak Dance Company), participated in a re-staging of Trisha Brown’s Set and Reset, interned with Wild Space Dance Company and Danceworks, and served as a Student Undergraduate Research Fellow on Mapping Migration of Gesture with Oni Dance Company—earning a top-ten award at the UW–Milwaukee Research Symposium. She holds a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and a Somatic Minor, later dancing with Peter Stathas Dance Company. Her choreography has been selected for New Dancemakers, the American College Dance Association Festival, and the Milwaukee Fringe Festival, and she continues to collaborate with Black Market Dance and Film. Caroline teaches modern, ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, improvisation, conditioning, and poms, and is passionate about helping dancers find their artistic voice.
Miss Laura Brunner

Miss Laura Brunner

Miss Laura is a wife of 20 years and a devoted mother to three children—Lilliana, Gabriella, and Elijah—and has worked with young dancers for over 20 years. She was a competitive gymnast for 14 years and a cheerleader for 8 years, attending Liberty University on a full cheerleading scholarship. After a career-ending injury, she returned to Ozaukee County and began teaching dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading. Laura taught competitive gymnastics and all-star cheerleading at North Shore Academy of Gymnastics and spent 20 years teaching cheer and dance camps at Eastbrook Church, later passing the program on to her daughter and a friend. She continues to teach the dance ministry for grades 5–8 at Eastbrook Church and previously taught cheerleading with Above the Clouds in Milwaukee for seven years. With a strong passion for organization and administration, Laura also worked for a Milwaukee nonprofit for 17 years in administrative and teaching roles. She is excited to be part of the Nine Ladies Dancing family.
Miss Lisa Moberly

Miss Lisa Moberly

Instructor
Lisa has been dancing since age six and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. During college, she trained in New York through the Nicolas Lois Summer Intensive and the Alvin Ailey School, while also teaching children’s classes and serving as Assistant Director of Turning Point Dance Academy. After graduation, Lisa danced professionally with Kanopy Dance in Madison and later performed with Dancecircus in Milwaukee, contributing to children’s education performances with the Symphony’s A.C.E. program. She continued performing, teaching masterclasses, and later moved to Chicago, where she taught advanced modern to pre-professional students and performed for individual artists. Lisa is fully certified in Pilates, completing an 800-hour teacher training program in 1999, and became a certified GYROTONIC® Level 1 trainer in 2013. In 2017, she earned certification as a Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) Specialist. She currently shares her expertise teaching Pilates and dance at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, Milwaukee Ballet School, Danceworks Inc., and at her own studio, Enhanced Body Movement in Mequon.
Miss Elizabeth Harrison

Miss Elizabeth Harrison

Elizabeth Harrison began dancing at age four in Hong Kong, training at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and performing works including Les Sylphides, Paquita, The Four Temperaments, and Persistent Memory. She danced with Hong Kong Ballet in The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, and Romeo & Juliet, and is a two-time winner of the Hong Kong Open Dance Competition (2007, 2009). She earned dual undergraduate degrees in Ballet Performance and International Relations from the University of Oklahoma, performing featured roles in The Nutcracker, La Bayadère, Swan Lake, Raymonda, and Lakmé. Elizabeth toured internationally with Oklahoma Festival Ballet, danced with Cincinnati Ballet, and spent seven seasons with Milwaukee Ballet in leading roles including Beauty and the Beast, Dracula, and La Bohème. More recently, Elizabeth taught ballet in the Boston area and earned her MFA in Dance from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She is passionate about developing dancers through a technically strong approach grounded in professional experience.
Miss Ashley Bwechwa

Miss Ashley Bwechwa

Ashley Platow started dancing at the age of three, crafting her art at multiple studios throughouth the Milwaukee area. These studios gave a wide range of opportunities to learn and perform dance in exciting new ways including; preforming at Disney World, participating in conventions and workshops and traveling to LA to study at the Edge Performance Arts Center. She later went graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with a BBA in International Business with minors in French and Dance. During her time at Whitewater, she participated as a dancer and choreographer in the Dancescapes performances and American College Dance Association festivals. Ashley has been teaching in the Milwaukee area since 2016. She has experience teaching both recreational and competitive classes in ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary. She created and managed a performance company at a local dance studio and is currently on the Jazz Faculty with Milwaukee Ballet School and Academy. She hopes to inspire students to love dance as much as she does and to find a safe haven in dance.
Mr. Tecwyn Roberts

Mr. Tecwyn Roberts

Mr. Tecwyn grew up dancing in Plymouth WI taking classes in Tap, Ballet, and Jazz. At the age of 9 he joined the Dancescape Ballet Company in Plymouth and performed in the Nutcracker, Cinderella, and many other ballets. In 2008 he started his teaching career working at various studio. In his time teaching, he choreographed many solos, large classes and their Nutcracker.
Mr. Malcolm Nieves

Mr. Malcolm Nieves

Instructor
Malcolm Nieves is a choreographer, competitive hip hop coach, street dancer, co-creator of Wisconsin’s Krump movement (WI Buck), and founder of the Nieves Realty Team. A self-taught hip hop dancer from Kenosha, Wisconsin, Malcolm began battle dancing and competing with Bradford’s Finest before a life-changing faith experience at age 15 led him to Christ and mentorship under Louis Hurd, founder of Rhemadance Dance Studio. Under Louis and Lakeisha Hurd, Malcolm trained in hip hop, contemporary, and African dance. Malcolm further developed his craft through extensive training, including the Word and Motion Christian Dance Conference in California, studying Lockin, Latin Funk, and House, and breakdancing under Milwaukee legend Mijo of Motion Disorder. He has trained with renowned artists including Tight Eyez (creator of Krump), Beast, Philip “PacMan” Chbeeb, Christopher Gilbert, Cedric Gardner, Ian Eastwood, and others. From 2014–2015, Malcolm trained as a professional ballroom instructor at Fred Astaire Dance Studio, where he choreographed and performed the first hip hop routine at the Fred Astaire World Championship in Las Vegas. Malcolm has choreographed numerous award-winning pieces across Wisconsin and participated in a mission trip to Uganda with Dance Mission International, teaching dance and sharing the gospel. While now working full-time in real estate alongside his wife, Donielle Nieves, Malcolm continues to make select appearances as a dance coach, serving youth and the community through dance ministry.
Miss Tabitha Verley

Miss Tabitha Verley

Instructor
Tabitha Verley danced Latin, Swing, and Ballroom all through high school and taught for a short time. Dance has always been a passion of hers and when her daughter wanted to dance they began looking for a studio. Kenzi, her daughter, started dancing for Nine Ladies in 2021 and they loved the environment and teachers so much that when the opportunity to teach came up she welcomed it. She lives in Port Washington with her husband, son and daughter.
Miss Lilliana

Miss Lilliana

Instructor
Lilliana has been dancing since the age of two and has trained in ballet at Steps of Grace, Above the Clouds, Milwaukee Ballet, and Nine Ladies Dancing. She is currently enrolled in Level 6 Ballet, Pointe, and Level 4 Jazz. When she is not dancing at the studio, she can be found dancing with the Dance Eternal Dance Ministry at Eastbrook Church or expressing her creativity through drawing. She is excited to share the love of Jesus through dance while helping younger dancers develop strong technique and confidence.
Miss Carly

Miss Carly

Instructor
Carly has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She has been training with Nine ladies dancing since they first opened their doors 8 years ago. She is currently enrolled in level 6 ballet, level 2 pointe, and level 5 contemporary. When she’s not dancing, you can find her spending time with friends and babysitting. She’s excited to help teach the next generation of dancers at the studio and help them make memories to last a lifetime.
Miss Gabi

Miss Gabi

Instructor
Gabi has been dancing from a very young age. Before coming to nine ladies dancing she danced at a few studios in the Milwaukee area. She is currently enrolled in ballet 6, jazz 5, contemporary 5, and pointe 2. When she is not dancing at the studio she can be found serving at her church and/or spending time with friends and family. She loves teaching kids dance and seeing them grow in their skills, find new friends, and grow/find their love for dance.
Miss Asia

Miss Asia

Instructor
Asia has been dancing since the age of 10. She has attended several dance conventions through Dance Revolution and has been taught by various professional artists. She is excited to teach her students about dance and the love of God.
